Our ski instructors

The Ski & Snowboard School Cristallo Cortina boasts professional ski instructors, always in the forefront of the new teaching methods, with a particular attention to safety and the aim of improving style and technique according to the pupils' age, experience and physical conditions, so that skiing becomes a great fun.

They are specialized in teaching to children, disabled persons, in carving technique as well as in the latest snow trends such as new school and freeride. Many of them can speak at least one foreign language, such as English, German and French.

Our snowboard instructors play a very important role: they are also specialized in freestyle and freeride, and pay a particular attention to the beginners’ needs, who are looked after according to specific techniques.

Mauro Da Deppo

Alpine skiing athlete, he was a good alpine skier in the Cortina Ski Club and in the Sport Center of the Italian Forest Ranger Corps. He’s a ski instructor since 1992 and is specialized in teaching to children. He is the director of the school since 2008. He can speak three foreign languages: German, English and French.

Aldo De Lotto

One of the founder members of the school, a skilled and very appreciated instructor. He is fond of music, he sings and plays in his band, which cut 3 wonderful records in our dialect.
He can speak a good English and a little Spanish.

Alex De Deppo

Alpine skiing athlete of the Veneto Italian Winter Sport Federation Committee in the 90s, he is a ski instructor since… and a pride for the School. He is really fond of this “job” and is specialized in teaching the Carving technique. He can speak a good English.

This instructor has been working for the school for many years. He loves the mountain and is responsible for the Alpine refuges of the Italian Alpine Club Section of Domegge.

He has been working with us for many years, but this year he has become a very important member of the school. He works as a building contractor, and at the end of the season he always has to “open the yard”. He’s very good with children.

After having spent some years in the USA, he has come back to the school. Michele is an excellent skier and a reliable instructor, especially with children. He can speak an excellent English.

Our “new entry”. He’s obtaining a degree in Pharmacy, and is an excellent cyclist and mountain biker. He’s very serious and professional, an excellent skier and can speak a very good English.

Gregorio Belfi

The founder of the school, he has been its director for 12 years. He has always shown a real passion for teaching and for school and spends the largest part of the year in Thailand, on the Koh Samui island www.villasamadhi.com. He often teaches to youths and is an expert of ski tours in the Dolomiti Superski carousel.

Pierluigi Colle

Our snowboard instructor. He’s very patient and well prepared, and his favorite disciplines are freeride and powder. He’s specialized in teaching in German. Beside German, he can speak English and a little French. In summer, he loves MTB and bmx dirt.

Federico De Bon

This serious and professional instructor was a good slalom racer of the Veneto Italian Winter Sport Federation Committee. He loves mountain bike and participated in some mountain bike competitions, and is obtaining a degree in engineering. He is specialized in the New School technique and can speak a good English.

Mario Della Bona

Mario is another founder member of the school and is the “wisest” member. He has always a good piece of advice for everybody and is an excellent instructor, a good “grandpa” with children and very patient with beginners.
He’s very appreciated by adults and children.

He has always been a member of the school. He is an excellent athlete of the Veneto Committee, and has a great passion: playing the battery. Even if now he’s devoting himself to his main activity, when he can he works for the school. He is very professional and can speak a good English.

Eleonora De Michiel

She is a ski instructor since 2007 and has become a Federal Instructor last year. Her main aim is to train young boys and girls starting to ski professionally.
Eleonora works as an optician in the rest of the year. She can speak a good English.

Xenia Disertori

In summer, Xenia works as a skipper among Italian coasts and Dalmatian islands, and she has been working for the school for many years. She is a very careful and skillful instructor, and she is specialized in teaching to disabled pupils. She has a degree in biology and is a school director. Due to a knee injury, she is not working at the moment.
